We are seeking an accomplished Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team who will serve as a key financial partner to the department and executive leadership.
This position is integral to supporting DEMCO’s long-term financial sustainability by leading enterprise financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, project management, process improvement, and performance analysis activities. The role will work closely with the CFO and executive leadership team to deliver forward-looking financial insights, assess the financial implications of major initiatives, and facilitate informed decision-making.
This role offers exposure to executive leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and complex financial issues unique to the electric utility industry, including regulatory compliance, capital planning, and disaster recovery.

The Senior Financial Analyst must demonstrate sound judgment, communicate intricate financial information effectively, and proactively identify risks, opportunities, and areas for process optimization to enhance financial insight and organizational efficiency.
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience (utility or regulated industry experience preferred). CPA or equivalent advanced financial credentials are strongly preferred. Strong analytical, communication, model management, and critical thinking skills are essential.
