About This Position:
The Compliance Investigator Manager provides leadership to compliance investigators, establishing audits, investigations, and enforcement of standards; ensuring consistent application of the Louisiana Revised Statutes and administrative rules; and supporting the Board's regulatory, enforcement, and legislative functions. Incumbent must be dedicated to promoting the integrity and professionalism of the private security industry in Louisiana, as well as constantly striving to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and excellence in the industry.

Minimum Qualifications
Seven years of experience in accounting, auditing, administrative services, building inspection, real estate appraisal, law enforcement, investigations, or in the issuance or recommendation of medical licenses; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years of experience in accounting, auditing, administrative services, building inspection, real estate appraisal, law enforcement, investigations, or in the issuance or recommendation of medical licenses; OR
A bachelor's degree plus four years of experience in accounting, auditing, administrative services, building inspection, real estate appraisal, law enforcement, investigations, or in the issuance or recommendation of medical licenses; OR
An advanced degree plus three years of experience in accounting, auditing, administrative services, building inspection, real estate appraisal, law enforcement, investigations, or in the issuance or recommendation of medical licenses.
Experience Substitution:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
- Manages the operations of the LSBPSE Compliance Division, consisting of professional-level field Compliance Investigators.
- Ensures that compliance activities are conducted in accordance with applicable statutes, administrative rules, policies, and Board directives.
- Develops internal procedures, workflows, and quality control standards to promote consistency and effectiveness in regulatory enforcement statewide.
- Conducts complex, high-profile, or sensitive compliance investigations involving alleged violations of the Louisiana Revised Statutes and administrative rules governing the private security industry.
- Provides guidance, direction, and technical assistance to investigators on investigative strategy, evidence collection, and documentation.
- Reviews investigative findings, determines regulatory implications, and ensures proper handling of confidential and sensitive information involving licensed security companies, registrants, and related entities.
