Provide timely inventory, restock, and distribution of medical and surgical supplies and equipment to patient care areas, supporting the needs of the age population served as defined in the department’s scope of service.
- Accurately inventory, restock, and organize PAR level supply carts in each patient care area
- Use PAR count sheets or the Par Excellence System to determine and fulfill supply needs
- Create and process orders in Par Excellence and Paragon Materials Management systems, ensuring proper reconciliation and inventory decrement
- Understand and apply the correct order type (full, selective, critical) and monitor order closure
- Interpret bin locations and restock shelves within Central Supply accurately
- Deliver patient supplies and equipment ordered on a “stat” basis quickly and efficiently via tube system or physical delivery
- Record all “stat” issues appropriately and manage phone requests for urgent supply needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned
