Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Operations Manager to lead the operational activities at our New Orleans, LA location. This on-site role entails supervising daily operations, ensuring timely execution of delivery schedules, managing and working along side our dispatch logistics team, optimizing route planning, and maintaining quality service standards. The Operations Manager will collaborate closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and clients to ensure effective communication, compliance, and operational efficiency. Additional responsibilities include tracking performance metrics, resolving operational challenges, and upholding safety protocols and company policies. Qualifications
- Three years experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transport operations
- Strong skills in leadership, team management, and process coordination
- Ability to analyze data, create performance reports, and manage budgets
- Problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of routing software and operational technology tools
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Familiarity with warehouse management and inventory procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in final mile logistics or expedited courier service is a plus
