Job Summary:
We are hiring reliable and safety-focused individuals for Roadside Litter Removal. This position involves cleaning highways, roadsides, medians, and right-of-ways.. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors near traffic, follows safety procedures closely, and can handle physical labor. Your schedule would be Monday- Friday 7am-4pm.
Candidate will be required to be able to properly and effectively drive a truck and trailer, and must have a valid drivers license.
Responsibilities:
- Collect litter and debris along roadsides, highways, medians, and right-of-ways
- Work safely near moving traffic while following all traffic control and safety guidelines
- Use hand tools and equipment to gather and bag trash
- Load and transport collected litter for proper disposal
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Follow supervisor instructions and job site safety rules
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical labor including walking long distances, bending, lifting, and carrying bags of litter
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work safely near traffic and noisy environments
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a crew
- Must follow safety protocols at all times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
