Job Summary

Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites with a wide variety of job offerings.
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to carry out tasks such as mixing concrete, painting, installing equipment, assembling structures, general maintenance (millwright), welding and fabrication in commercial and industrial facilities.
- Operate basic tools and machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity
- Support team members in lifting, carrying, and positioning materials or equipment as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or related manual labor roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety procedures and a proactive approach to hazard awareness
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and machinery is a plus but training will be provided for the right candidate
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to contribute as part of a team
