Serve at the center of action as
the Administrative Assistant to the Chief Engineer in the Engineering Services Section! In this fast-paced, high-impact role, you’ll power department-wide operations by managing procurement processes, coordinating purchase orders and contract payments, and serving as the key liaison for property and telecommunications. You’ll keep communications flowing, support critical reporting and scheduling, and ensure the Chief Engineer and the Engineering Services team run efficiently every day. Minimum Qualifications
Four years of experience in administrative services.

- Performs an array of procurement functions on a department-wide basis. This includes drafting/monitoring/coordinating/administering of goods/service purchase orders; reviewing invoices for payment to contracts and preparing invoices for approval.
- Serves as the property liaison for Engineering Services Central Office
- Responsible for maintaining and coordinating main line telephone coverage.
- Serves as the telecommunications coordinator and bill payer for Engineering Services
- Provides direct assistance to the Chief Engineer for scheduling, mailing, filing, locating, retrieving, communicating both internal and external reports, and/or any other necessary activities
