About This Role
R.R. Cassidy is seeking a skilled Superintendent to join our team. The Superintendent provides overall site leadership and management for multiple deep pile foundation projects supporting the electrical utility industry.
What You'll Do
- Oversee all phases of multiple deep pile foundation projects, from planning through completion.
- Coordinate closely with General Superintendent, Project Managers, Engineers, and clients.
- Lead pre-construction and planning meetings; develop site-specific execution plans.
- Ensure all safety protocols are enforced across job sites.
- Supervise and mentor Foremen, Leadmen, and crews across multiple job sites.
- Review plans, submittals, and permits to ensure full compliance with project requirements.
- Track progress, costs, and production reports; adjust staffing and schedules as needed.
- Resolve complex site issues, delays, or equipment needs.
- Conduct quality control checks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Be committed, professional, and courteous.
- Understand every aspect of your project: schedule, budget, execution plan, QAQC.
- Maintain and promote company culture.
- Teach proper execution techniques.
- Be available to the team.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and report back to estimating.
- Participate in job planning meetings.
- Engage in workforce discussions and provide visibility.
- Understand the workforce and apply the right people to the right situation.
- Be innovative with project execution.
- Collaborate with fellow employees.
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years of experience in heavy civil or deep foundation construction, including supervisory roles.
- Extensive knowledge of deep pile systems, safety protocols, and electrical utility requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient with project management software and reporting tools.
- OSHA 30 certification required; CPR/First Aid preferred.
- Basic survey practices, elevation and alignment
