Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces across all areas of the facility.
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure safety and appearance standards are upheld.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and high-traffic zones using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures, lighting, or equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Assist with custodial responsibilities related to residential painting touch-ups or minor repairs as needed to support overall facility upkeep.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and inspections performed to support operational transparency.
- Cleaning in shop where mechanics work on trucks.
- General maintenance around the facility (pressure washing, grass cutting, etc.)
- Parts running for shop as needed.
Experience
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings demonstrating familiarity with professional cleaning techniques.
- Experience with floor care processes such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices including basic repair work and preventative upkeep is preferred.
- Prior porter experience or background in industrial cleaning enhances your ability to adapt quickly to diverse cleaning challenges.
- Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to follow instructions precisely ensures thoroughness in all tasks performed.
