Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray studies with precision and attention to detail.
- Assist in the diagnosis process by providing high-quality images for physicians’ review and interpretation.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety standards.
- Support Physicians by providing timely imaging services during critical situations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and ensure proper handling of patient records.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures by explaining processes and addressing concerns.
- Calibrate and maintain imaging equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning.
- Stay current with evolving medical imaging technology and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Proven experience in diagnostic radiology including X-ray procedures.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Experience working in clinic setting.
- Ability to operate complex medical imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills for managing patient data.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments such as urgent care settings.
- Good communication skills for explaining procedures to patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
