Our 90-unit apartment community in Baton Rouge, LA is looking for a Property Manager. Candidate must have the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years prior experience in on-site multifamily property management in a 75- unit community
- Minimum of 3 years experience with One Site property management software
- Demonstrated ability to effectively recruit, retain, manage, direct, train, motivate and lead both office and maintenance personnel.
- Experience with Section 8 vouchers preferred.
Expectations
- Prepare accurate and timely reports as needed
- Work with the Regional Manager and corporate team to review and inspect all capital replacement plans; ensure all are within the scope of the approved budget.
- Perform leasing duties to market the property and fill vacancies in a timely manner.
- Solicit bids and negotiate with vendors.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and prospective tenants.
- Follow up on delinquencies and prepare evictions, as needed.
- Inspect the property on a regular basis to assure the marketability of the community, both interior and exterior.
