Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively
- Follow established safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a hygienic environment at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures diligently
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by the employer
