Responsibilities
Plan, develop and model effective research-based teaching practices and utilization of technology in the classroom to facilitate learning for students and adults, including but not limited to:
· Assist with development, monitoring, and revision of curriculum maps, instructional materials and curriculum assessments
· Assist school and district level personnel in planning and delivering professional development
· Cooperate with principals, teachers, and other Curriculum & Instruction staff members to affect horizontal and vertical articulation throughout the district
· Perform tasks needed to implement the district's Long Range Strategic Action Plan that supports curriculum, instruction and technology
· Analyze school and district-level data using applicable data from various technology/data management systems
Certification Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree; Louisiana Teaching Certificate in grade level/content area aligned with the supported grade level and content/subject
· Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate - Type `A,' `B' or `C'/ Level 1, 2 or 3
· Ability to provide professional learning sessions for adult learners
· Three (3) years of teaching experience in grade level/content area aligned with supported grade level and content/subject PREFERRED
· Knowledge of content area aligned with supported grade levels and content/subject assessment design and proficiency in technology PREFERRED
· Ability to foster effective relationships with all stakeholders

Pay: $63,000.00 - $84,840.00 per year
