This is an Administrator Role
WE ARE IN-HOME CARE PROVIDER, this is not a medical position.
We are a state licensed provider and must follow the following criteria as outlined in LDH regulations.
* The administrator shall be a resident of the state of Louisiana and shall have a high school diploma or equivalent, and shall meet the following requirements:
1. Have a bachelor's degree, plus a minimum of four years of verifiable experience working in a field providing services to the elderly and/or persons with developmental disabilities; or
2. Have a minimum of six years of verifiable experience working in a health or social service related business, plus a minimum of four additional years of verifiable experience working in a field providing services to the elderly and/or persons with developmental disabilities; or
3. Registered Nurse with 2 years of experience in a health role.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrator to oversee operations within our organization. Management skills required. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home community care, nursing, or social work, with a focus on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. This role requires excellent management skills and financial acumen to ensure the effective delivery of services in long-term care settings, including group homes and senior care facilities.
* Any person convicted of a felony as defined in these provisions is prohibited from serving as the administrator of an HCBS provider agency.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the company, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in care.
- Oversee incident reports
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
- Supervise staff, providing training and support to enhance team performance and service delivery.
- Maintain financial oversight, including budgeting, expense tracking, and resource allocation.
- Foster a positive environment that promotes the well-being of residents and staff alike.
- Engage with families and community resources to ensure comprehensive support for residents.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of care programs and make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in home community care, nursing, or social work is essential.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Financial acumen to manage budgets and resources efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff, residents, and families.
- A compassionate approach towards caregiving and commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all residents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
