Salary: $150,000 – $175,000 per year (DOE)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Plant Supervisor to oversee operations for an open-pit sand mine and wash plant near Monroe, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in setting up and operating open pit sand pits and dredging systems, along with strong leadership and operational management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily mining and wash plant operations, ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently.
- Supervise and train employees, maintaining a positive and productive workforce.
- Develop and manage budgets, production reports, and performance metrics.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
- Optimize dredging, washing, and aggregate processing systems for maximum yield and quality.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in open-pit mining or sand & gravel operations.
- Hands-on knowledge of dredging systems and wash plant setup/operation.
- Experience in budgeting, production reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Commitment to safety and environmental best practices.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, and background check.
