Salary: $150,000 – $175,000 per year (DOE)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Plant Supervisor to oversee operations for an open-pit sand mine and wash plant near Monroe, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in setting up and operating open pit sand pits and dredging systems, along with strong leadership and operational management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily mining and wash plant operations, ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently.
Supervise and train employees, maintaining a positive and productive workforce.
Develop and manage budgets, production reports, and performance metrics.
Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Manage equipment maintenance schedules, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
Optimize dredging, washing, and aggregate processing systems for maximum yield and quality.

Qualifications:

5+ years of supervisory experience in open-pit mining or sand & gravel operations.
Hands-on knowledge of dredging systems and wash plant setup/operation.
Experience in budgeting, production reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Commitment to safety and environmental best practices.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, and background check.
