Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
Maintain floors through buffing and polishing to ensure a clean appearance.
Handle commercial cleaning duties in various settings, including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
Assist with custodial duties such as trash removal and recycling efforts.
Provide support in industrial cleaning tasks as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning schedules are met efficiently.
Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is advantageous.
Experience in commercial cleaning environments is a plus.
Knowledge of residential painting or facilities maintenance can be beneficial.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to lift and move equipment or supplies as required for cleaning tasks.
