MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Providing advice involving workforce issues to senior leaders, supervisors, and nonsupervisory staff.
· Developing and coordinating hiring plans by obtaining input from program officials. Generating, updating, and maintaining various reports, providing updated information for CBP's internal Table of Organization (TO) tracker.
· Submitting and monitoring personnel-related actions and awards.
· Developing and delivering briefings, project papers, status reports, staff reports and correspondence.
· Serving as a liaison with Labor-Employee Relations (LER), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEO), the Office of Chief Counsel (OCC), and the Office of Workers' Compensation Program (OWCP) for cases that have workforce implications. Assisting, researching, collecting, and analyzing Office of Workers' Compensation Program (OWCP) case information.
· Submitting and monitoring personnel-related actions related to promotions, reassignments, transfers, retirements, awards, timecards, and leave.
· Developing and delivering briefings, project papers, status reports, staff reports, and correspondence to managers to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
· Assisting leadership in the development and implementation of policies related to sector workforce and position management, procedures, and other matters affecting USBP administrative programs
