Job Overview:
Rockwood is looking for employees to help us start a location near Rayville, LA. Employees will work onsite daily sorting through materials from construction sites. The materials will be ground, baled, or sorted into new containers and hauled offsite. This is a starting position but we are looking for employees that are interested in growing as the business in this area will continue to increase. We are wanting staff that we can teach to manage and grow with our company from the ground up. This is a great place to learn a skill and friends or family are welcome to apply.
Number one job qualification will be integrity as I must have staff I can trust to work daily without manager oversight.
Duties:
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks as required
- Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks to move materials within the facility
- Willing to learn or have experience with loader, skid steer, and other materials is preferred.
- Conduct basic equipment checks and preventative care.
- Utilize warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines for workplace safety
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor throughout the shift
- Competence in operating equipment like pallet jacks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
