Job Description:
Directnic is seeking a reliable and organized Mailroom Clerk to join our team. Our company provides a wide range of services including website design, development, hosting, and computer technology solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily mailroom operations and ensuring that incoming and outgoing correspondence, packages, and documents are processed accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments
- Prepare outgoing mail, including labeling, packaging, and arranging shipments
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Coordinate with courier and shipping services for timely deliveries
- Ensure the mailroom remains organized and supplies are well stocked
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and document preparation
- Follow company procedures for handling confidential documents
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous mailroom, office support, or administrative experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment
- Ability to lift and move packages when necessary
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail
