The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach treatment goals and to return to more integrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs.
Office of State Facilities and Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Accountant Administrative 3to join our dynamic team.
Two years of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been at the supervisory level or above:
Eight years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial operations, payroll, or banking; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field plus twenty-four semester hours in accounting plus five years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial operations, payroll, or banking; OR
A bachelor’s degree with twenty-four semester hours in accounting plus five years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial operations, payroll, or banking; OR
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, management, economics, or statistics plus five years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial operations, payroll, or banking; OR
An advanced degree in accounting, finance, business administration, management, economics, quantitative methods, or statistics plus four years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial operations, payroll, or banking; OR
Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license plus three years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial operations, payroll, or banking.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:
- Directs and oversees all financial operations for multiple state-run healthcare facilities, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, auditing, reimbursement and revenue cycle functions.
- Develops and implements system-wide financial strategies aligned with state priorities, healthcare regulations and organizational goals.
- Leads the development, administration, and monitoring of complex operating and capital budges involving state appropriations, grants and other funding sources.
- Ensures effective allocation and control of financial resources across facilities to support patient care, staffing, infrastructure and program needs.
- Monitors expenditures and revenues to ensure fiscal accountability, cost containment and efficient use of public funds.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements, including Medicaid, Medicare and other reimbursement programs as applicable.
- Establishes financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure consistency, accountability and transparency system-wide.
- Promotes professional development, performance management and continuous improvement within the finance function.

Appointment Type: This position may be filled by Probation, Promotion, Demotion, Lateral Transfer or Detail to Special Duty.
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Pass Days: Saturday and Sunday
