Job Summary
AXIOS Industrial Solutions, LLC is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as General Cargo Laborers supporting port and terminal operations. This role assists with the loading and unloading of vessels and the movement of cargo throughout the terminal.
This is a position based on vessel schedules and operational demand. Due to the nature of the work, candidates should live in the surrounding local area to accommodate extended workdays and variable schedules.
No prior experience is required. We are looking for solid, reliable individuals who are ready to work hard, start as a laborer, and build a long-term career in the maritime and industrial industry.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading general cargo from vessels safely and efficiently
- Move cargo throughout the terminal using proper material handling methods
- Work alongside equipment operators, supervisors, and other crew members
- Perform general labor duties including rigging, securing cargo, and staging materials
- Follow all port, terminal, and company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and ensure a safe work environment at all times
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support terminal operations
Skills
- No experience required we will train the right candidate
- Prior labor, construction, marine, or industrial experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, climbing, bending, working outdoors)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Team player with a safety first mindset
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
Work Schedule & Requirements
- Typical shifts are 12 hour days
- Expect 48–60+ hours per week depending on vessel schedules
- Days, nights, weekends, and holidays may be required
- Candidates must be local to the surrounding area due to schedule demands
Pay: $850.00 - $1,500.00 per week
