Housekeeper (Full-Time, 6:00am to 2:00pm, 4 days on 2 days off schedule)
Capital Oaks Nursing & Rehabilitation Center – Baton Rouge, LA
Capital Oaks is seeking dedicated and dependable Housekeepers to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors during the day shift.
Schedule & Pay
- Full-Time, 6:00am-2:00pm

Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces
- Empty trash and handle soiled linens safely
- Restock supplies in resident and staff areas
- Follow infection control and COVID-19 safety procedures
- Report any maintenance or safety issues
Qualifications
- Housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to resident dignity and privacy
Work Environment: Healthcare setting (nursing & rehabilitation) | PPE provided | Bathrooms to clean: 5+ daily
