Job Overview
We are seeking an organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team! This vital role combines front desk responsibilities with administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service. MUST BE DETAIL-ORIENTED, THOROUGH, AND PRECISE! You will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, manage office tasks efficiently, and support various administrative functions to keep our workplace running seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly and professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk area and ensure all reception duties are handled promptly
- Learn to read survey maps, survey field notes, form surveys and FEMA maps
- Complete elevation certificates with information given by surveyors
- Prepare No Work Affidavits
- Help prepare bids for Parish/State projects
- Clerical work includes ordering supplies, answering the phone, proofing & sending out proposals, setting up new projects, filing, processing maps, etc.
Qualifications
- Proven office experience or clerical background with strong organizational skills
- Excellent computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette essential for effective communication
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy; attention to detail in proofreading documents is necessary
- Ability to manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks efficiently
- Must provide references
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:
