Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for various task essential to the smooth operation of warehouse operations. Key responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
· Receiving and processing shipments: Unloading trucks, inspecting merchandise for defects and damage, and verifying incoming shipment against purchase orders.
· Inventory management: Organizing and maintaining inventory, ensuring accurate labeling and placement of goods. Creating tracking reports.
· Order fulfillment: picking, packing, loading packages onto trucks, and preparing order for contractors.
· Maintaining cleanliness: Keeping the warehouse clean and organized to ensure a safe working environment.
· Operating equipment: Safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, following safety protocols.
This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position must also ensure that regulatory compliance requirements are met.
This role may be called upon from time to time to assist the Foreman with the following:
· Supports the supervisor in decision-making processes.
· Oversee staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
· Enforce company policies and regulations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
· Addresses employee concerns and resolves conflicts in the workplace.
· Conducts regular inspections to identify potential problems or areas for improvement.
· Assists in the hiring, training, and orientation of new staff.
· Provides performance feedback for evaluations.
· Assists the supervisor in managing daily operations.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Proven related experience in warehouse / stores area is strongly preferred. All duties of this position must be safely and effectively performed in alignment with the water company’s policy and expectations.
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 47.0 per week
