Janitor – Manufacturing Facility

Summary of Responsibilities:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout our manufacturing facility. This role is essential to ensuring a hygienic and hazard-free environment for our employees, visitors, and operations.
Education and Training Required:
Must have previous housekeeping or janitorial experience.
Must be able to work independently and efficiently with strong attention to detail.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Must be dependable and punctual.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Receive and respond to oral and written instructions primarily from the Facilities Manager, but also from other staff members.
· · Clean and tidy offices, or common areas according to assigned schedules.
· Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, and fixtures.
· Clean bathrooms, restock supplies, and sanitize high-touch surfaces.
· Dispose of trash, recyclables, and other waste properly.
· Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to the supervisor.
· Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored safely.
Works:
Full-time position. 40+ hours per week.
Physical Requirements : Must be able to lift up to 25lbs. Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, or kneel regularly, as well as climb stairs and ladders to complete tasks.
