Compensation Range:
$22.00 - $25.00/per hour

Position Overview:
The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for overseeing the entire bookkeeping function for the organization. This role requires a self-starter who can handle all aspects of financial record-keeping, from day-to-day transactions to month-end closings, with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and support strategic financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable (AP) processes, including vendor invoice processing, payment scheduling, and reconciliation of vendor statements.
- Oversee accounts receivable (AR) activities, such as invoicing clients, tracking payments, and managing collections to ensure timely cash flow.
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns, ensuring compliance with state and local tax regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, reconciliations, and ordering as needed.
- Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, adjustments, and account reconciliations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience as a full charge bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for data analysis, reporting, and communication.
- Expertise in QuickBooks Desktop for managing financial transactions and reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent self-starter attitude with a focus on customer service.
- Effective communicator with team members and customers.
- High School diploma.
- 2 years’ experience as a bookkeeper.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include sitting for periods of time, occasionally lifting 15 - 20 lbs. (ex. Reams of paper, file boxes, etc.), and handle other traditional office tasks.
