Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our team.
Duties
As an Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting legal research: Analyzing statutes, regulations, and case law to support case preparation and provide accurate legal advice. (State & Federal);
- Drafting documents: Preparing pleadings, motions, memos, appeals, and other legal documents. (State & Federal);
- Assisting senior attorney: Collaborating on case strategy, gathering evidence, and preparing for trial;
- Client communication: Providing updates, explaining legal processes, and addressing concerns;
- Deposition summaries;
- Trial preparation;
- Appellate briefing; and
- Discovery practice: Drafting discovery requests and responses.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school;
- Admission to the state bar association and in good standing;
- Excellent negotiation skills with a proven ability to advocate for clients effectively;
- Exceptional writing skills with experience in legal drafting and documentation;
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities;
- Strong legal research;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Attention to detail and accuracy;
- Organizational and time management skills; and
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a heavy workload.
