Job Title: Payroll Specialist

About the Role:
APC Construction, LLC is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for processing our weekly payroll using Sage 300 and providing administrative support to other departments as time allows. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Process weekly payroll accurately and on time using Sage 300
Review and verify timecards, attendance records, and pay adjustments
Enter and maintain employee payroll information
Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and reimbursements
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Prepare payroll reports for management and accounting
Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies
Maintain confidential employee and payroll records
Assist other administrative departments with clerical and office support as needed

Qualifications:

Prior experience processing payroll (required)
Experience with Sage 300 payroll software strongly preferred
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
