We are searching for a skilled litigation paralegal to join an experienced litigation team. The successful candidate will provide assistance during all phases of the litigation process.

Responsibilities

Assist with pre-claim investigation and initial case assessments
Draft discovery requests and responses
Draft pleadings and motions under the direction of an attorney
Organize exhibits, documents, evidence and pleadings
Assist with trial preparation efforts
Attend trials with attorneys to assist in the presentation of evidence

Skills/Qualifications Required

Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in paralegal studies or functional equivalent
Significant prior work experience as a litigation paralegal
Knowledge of common motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc
Ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
Strong organizational, writing and communication skills
Reliable attention to detail
Familiarity with relevant computer applications
Ability to learn quickly
