A large logistics company in Metairie is seeking a Logistics - Customer Service Rep!
Pay is $20-$25 per hour based on experience.

Duties of the Logistics Customer Service Rep include but are not limited to:
- Assist with processing freight forwarding documentation for export shipments (bills of lading, country of origin, etc.)
- Answer phone calls and make outbound calls to clients
- Receive instructions for each assigned client
- Enter client information into database
- Work with customs and assist with paperwork regarding cargo
- Issue instructions for container pickups
- Coordinate deliveries
- Receive updates from operations on process of pickups
- Review invoice information and send to accounting
- Track and trace other shipments
Requirements of the Logistics Customer Service Rep:
- 2 years of customer service experience Experience in logistics, transportation, or import/export preferred
- High School Diploma required Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel (will be tested)
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Able to establish and maintain effective, positive working relationships
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

- Customer service: 2 years (Required)
- Logistics: 2 years (Preferred)
- Supply chain: 2 years (Preferred)
