Machine Shop Supervisor:
We have an immediate need for an experienced machine shop supervisor. Key functions of your role will be to assist in programming, setting up, and running jobs on CNC mills, CNC lathes, and CNC horizontal boring mills, with a strong focus on quality and production output. Experience running manual lathes and mills are highly preferred but not required. We currently run Doosan and Haas machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting and coaching the programming of Mastercam software from scratch
- Coach other machine shop staff
- Clearly communicate to management where jobs are in the machining process
- Set up machines correctly in a timely manner
- Independently operate CNC machines following the guidelines of our production programming
- Ensure quality production at all times in addition to proper operation of machines
- Maintain traceability on all jobs
- Ensure quality and quantity standards are met on a daily/consistent basis
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times
- Perform all daily maintenance on equipment
- Always comply with safety protocol
- Comply with policies related to quality of work at all times
Required Experience/Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating CNC mills, lathes and boring mills
- Able to hit production targets with no oversight
- Able to lead, coach, and clearly communicate
- Able to program Mastercam software from scratch
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to use measuring tools such as dial calipers, O.D and I.D. micrometers, bore gauges
- Ability to set up and run jobs on CNC machines
- Ability to setup multiple jobs on multiple machines

Pay range:
- $42-$46 per hour depending on experience
- Quarterly incentive program, based on performance guidelines
