DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs the entry of new and renewal submissions into Gray Surplus Lines Insurance Company proprietary systems;
- Reconciles records as needed;
- Works with underwriters, Business Development, and other relevant departments to resolve customer and internal issues;
- Performs administrative functions as needed;
- Supports the Underwriting Department through established standards and priorities that are responsive to marketing, underwriting, retention, and service goals; and
- Other duties as assigned/ required

EDUCATION/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- High School diploma required;
- Experience in the insurance industry preferred but not required;
- Basic to intermediate competency in MS Office applications including: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook;
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting established deadlines;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
- Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
