Job Summary/Basic Functions

Under the general supervision of the Business Manager, incumbent’s mission is to provide professional level administrative support for all aspects of grants and contracts management for the Department of Pediatrics. Incumbent is responsible for adhering to all relevant rules, regulations and procedures while driving efficiencies and maximizing resources in support of the Department, SOM, and LSUHSC’s mission. This includes but is not limited to ensuring that all expenditures are within available sources of funds and are appropriate for the projects and source of funding. All duties will be accomplished with a high degree of independence, timeliness, confidentiality and initiative.

Required Education: Bachelor's

Number of years required to perform the job: Three

Type of experience required to perform the job: Relevant professional level work experience

Substitution: Master’s degree can substitute for two years of professional level work experience.
